Position One Victorious at Willow Springs IKF Event
MAY 2009
Position One Motorsports and Team Avanti added a couple of drivers to their roster, while bringing home yet another victory!
Dylan Nobile decided to join Team Avanti just one week prior to the IKF Region 7 race at Willow Springs. Previously on a CRG package, Dylan took no time to get acquainted with the Team and his #7 Avanti, posting some good times during a test day just one week prior to the IKF event.
Throughout the weekend, Dylan was one of the fastest in all groups entered. He came up short for a win, but proudly brought home two top 3’s and a 2nd place. Not bad for his first run with a new team and chassis.
His best finish was in HPV 4, while battling for the entire race with race winner Kyle Shriver, his former teammate. Dylan finished 2nd by a fraction of a second.

Supernationals Preview
Junior Classes
TaG Junior
So far, this is the only junior class that has a Supernationals worthy field. Not that the other classes don't have talented drivers, they just don't have enough entries to warrant inclusion and suck up track time. But that's just our opinion. TaG Junior has some of the top little squids in the country and should be a very good race. We don't know exactly what the engine rules are and how they'll pan out out, but we're predicting a good race. We expect to see Broc Yocum, Mason Chelootz, Austin Self, Trent Hindman, Dylan Nobile and Tyler Thomas at the front of the pack.
Our pick: The MadKarter.com magic eight ball says Nobile takes the win after a hard-fought battle with Hindman and Yocum.
